A service of the National Institute on Aging, the ADEAR website provides access to information on Alzheimer's Disease (a dementia) including basic information, current news, clinical trials, and a section on caregiving. A directory of Alzheimer's Centers is also provided. Freely downloadable documents covering a range of Alzheimer's topics (general information, diagnosis & symptoms, treatment, research, caregiving, healthy aging and training programs for professionals) are also available. An excellent starting resource for learning about Alzheimer's Disease.
