NNCC unites the expertise of many of the nation's leading universities through the outreach system of Cooperative Extension. This site includes a collection of over 1000 research based publications and resources related to child care. They also provide an email list-serv, contact information for those working in local areas on children and youth issues, and a newsletter that is issued four times a year for family child care, center-based care, and school-age child care. The information is easy to read and the site is easy to navigate.

This site provides extensive information about safety and health regulations for child care centers in the United States. The site provides links to the licensing regulations in each state, as well as several publications that discuss the features that should be in place in a quality child care center.
